The Nocturmex Series: Every Match in Order
The longest rivalry in the Robgrappler archive, in order: every public Robgrappler vs Nocturmex match, with runtimes, formats and where to start.
Nocturmex is the opponent who keeps coming back. Five matches in, he is my longest-running rivalry, and the matches change character as it goes: from a surprise first meeting to pure attrition to something colder.
If you are new to the series, this is the order to watch it in and what each chapter adds.
1. Unexpected: Introducing Nocturmex
Released June 2025 · 7:15 · Free · 4K
The first meeting, and the reason there is a series at all. I found an opponent who matched me in strength and had grappling knowledge I did not expect. It is short and it is free, which makes it the right place to start: you learn who Nocturmex is before the stakes go up.

2. The second chapter
The second match in the rivalry is not part of the public catalog, so the public watch order jumps from the introduction to the third match. You lose nothing in following the story.
3. Robgrappler vs Nocturmex 3: Brutal Back & Forth Battle
Released November 2025 · 14:13 · Premium · Full HD · Downloadable
This is where the rivalry finds its edge. Two strong wrestlers trading control in a relentless, sweat-heavy submission grappling match. Neither man gives anything away, and the back-and-forth in the title is earned.

4. Nocturmex IV: Breaking Point
Released April 2026 · 32:48 · Premium
The match doubles in length and the tone shifts to attrition. Heavy control, visible fatigue, and a finish that arrives only after long, costly pressure. If match 3 was about who could take control, IV is about how much pressure a body absorbs before it folds.

5. Nocturmex V: Psychological Warfare
Released July 2026 · 33:38 · Premium · Full HD · Downloadable · Two camera angles
The newest chapter, and the strangest. The control is heavy and the pace is patient, but what separates V from everything before it is what never happens: no banter, no shared laugh, no check-in when it costs. It is also the first match in the series shot with full dual-angle coverage. I wrote about that night in The Night the Room Went Cold.

Where to start
- New to the series: start with the free introduction, then go straight to V. The contrast between the two is the fastest way to see what the rivalry became.
- Want the arc: watch 1, 3, IV and V in order. Put IV and V back to back last; one is about the body, the other is not.
- Only buying one: V stands on its own and needs no context.
